Who are we? We are:- Mike Lowery (67) Retired entrepreneur and inventor. Lives in Blackpool, Lancashire, North West England. Initial concept, design, networking and research. Paul Price (53) Freelance technical illustrator 3D modeller. Also lives in Blackpool. Responsible for imagery and engineering design used on the project. Progress {26 Jan 2011} We are now actively seeking a company to develop and manufacture this relatively simple water wheel that has a proven market for remote area river hydro power. We have:- A list of around 240 very keen people wishing to buy. A list of 40 prospective agents from around the world. Plus 4 companies on other continents wishing to receive copy moulds to manufacture the barrel under license when the product is developed to a production item.   It is protected under copyright under UK patent application GB0816315.6 (08 Sept 08)

Draft Contract License Agreement

Product Title:-  Hydro Electric Barrel (HEB)

It is to be understood that this agreement is for the complete Barrel Paddle Tread casing design. It does not cover the Generator or gear assembly

The all electrical systems, tube swing harness assembly, or any anchor system would be the property of the manufacture and Licensee.

The Licensor Paul Price and Michael Lowery will supply CAD model for the construction of the prototype barrel by 5 axis milling.

The agreement could include the right to sell the Hydro Electric Barrel in other Territories out side of the country of manufacture as one licensee would supply a large continent.

The Licensor would require a Contract License for a term of seven years from the date of Sale of a production of each Barrel size.

We require on all barrel sizes: Royalty Payment of 3% on the ex-works price of the actual barrel component excluding all other hardware and services.

At the end of the seven year License Agreement the Licensee would own the manufacturing rights 100% outright. for the assigned territory on each size of barrel from its start up manufacturing date.

The Licensee could also be the agent for barrel sizes he does not make.

UK. manufacture for 1.5 metre models:  Ian Curnock in Wales.

UK. Agent  for 1 metre models in the future: Marcus McKay,  Cumbria.

USA. Agent for 1 metre models in the future: John Cole, Tennessee.
