HEB Navigation Buoy

The light is powered by two internal flywheel permanent magnet generators.
The HEB’s design helps prevent being it sucked down by current.

HEB Power Buoy

Could incorporate in addition to the two small internal generators, a linear permanent magnet generator driven by the wave rise and fall for power generation variant.

Bridge Lighting.
Could be used to power lighting on remote bridges.

The Generator.

Early HEB designs are likely to use a belt or chain driven generator mounted to the frame.

In future however a pair of geared permanent magnet generators built into the HEB’s body would be a better solution. This technology is developing fast driven by the market growth in hub motors.
